Make plans now to sponsor and attend the upcoming 2010 State of the City address and luncheon hosted by the Rocklin Chamber of
Commerce. Rocklin City Manager Carlos Urrutia will again be featured as the keynote speaker. Urrutia will be focusing on the city’s recent
accomplishments and what to expect in the future. Scheduled to take place on Friday, Feb. 26 at Coach’s Restaurant, inside Strikes Family
Entertainment Center, 5681 Lonetree Blvd. in Rocklin. State of the City will host area dignitaries and key business people as well as provide an update on Rocklin’s schools, civil services, residential and commercial development, 2009 accomplishments and the current economic
situation and its impact on the overall budget. “State of the City is an event I enjoy attending every year,” explained Rosanna Ruiz, owner of
several McDonald’s restaurants. “I have the opportunity to connect with local business people and VIPs and it’s a great opportunity to get some
exposure for our business.”
