Placer County Releases 2007 Economic Profile
The 2007 Placer County Economic and Demographic Profile, now available online, covers the county's demographics, education, business climate, real estate, infrastructure, and quality of life.  The county's Office of Economic Development commissioned the Sacramento Regional Research Institute (SRRI) to do the profile. The SRRI is a joint venture of the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO) and California State University, Sacramento.  Placer County, one of California's fastest growing counties, is a key component of the Sacramento region's economy.  The profile includes the most recent data for Placer County and it's incorporated cities along with five-year and 10-year historical data points and projections.
